Cannons, as it's simply called, is a strategic, offensive tanks game that involves multiplayer elements and a lot of shooting. While that may or may not be new to you, Cannons is a fun game that everyone can enjoy.

At the beginning of every level, you'll face a certain number of players (however many were picked in the lobby or game room), and once the game is started, it's up to you to destroy them all. To do so, you'll be able to move either left or right (or both) during your turn, but only so much, and then you'll be able to make a cannon shot. You don't have to move during your turn, but you do have to make a shot, so make it count. To aim your shot, either hit up or down to change the angle; charge it up by holding down the spacebar. The longer you hold it down, the farther your shot goes, but if you only tap the spacebar, you're in danger of hitting yourself and damaging your own cannon - so don't do that!

You'll be able to damage and destroy the scenery in every level. This can help you position an opponent, by destroying the ground under them, but this can also make moving around tricky for your own cannon. Experiment with the different types of weapons you're given, too, as they do different types of damage and have different effects.
