Shadez is a real-time strategy game that puts you in command of a special operations unit. The game features beautiful visuals, numerous units, four battlefields, and simple, yet addicting gameplay.
The objective of Shadez is to prevent enemy units from reaching your base on the left side of the screen. In order to prevent your enemy from advancing, you must create an army of soldiers, tanks, helicopters, and other units, as well as employ cruise missiles, artillery strikes, and anti-aircraft missiles. Every time an enemy unit makes it to your base, your health is reduced. When your health is completely depleted, the game is over!
In order to create units or call in strikes in Shadez, you must use the interface at the bottom of the screen. At first, you will only be able to train infantry, other units and abilities may be unlocked under the upgrades tab. I advise unlocking the Abrams tank first, since it deals massive damage against ground units, followed by the Tomahawk missile, which may be helpful if you find yourself in a pinch. Purchasing items costs money, however, but destroying enemy units will reward you with the necessary funds to keep your army mobilized! It should also be noted, that if your units make it past the right side of the battlefield, your money will be reimbursed for the unit.
Some units may be controlled in this strategy game. To issue orders to a unit, simply click the unit on the battlefield, then click the desired action on the interface. You may order a unit to advance, to hold its ground, or to deploy its cargo (in the case of the Chinook helicopter). Units cannot be manually ordered to target enemies, however, and will automatically engage the nearest enemy that it can. If you want to manually target an enemy, you must utilize the various strikes that you may have available, such as Tomahawk cruise missiles or airstrikes.
Shadez is an action-packed war game. If you think that you have what it takes to take the fight to the enemy, try Shadez, an awesome strategy game!
