Shadez 2: Battle for Earth Walkthrough

Shadez 2: Battle for Earth is a quite complex flash game. In it, you can either start a campaign if you're in it for the long haul, or you can play a simple skirmish if you're just looking for a time waster. Either way, you'll be playing a fully-developed game that you can come back to at anytime.

To start out, the first mission is tutorial-based. You'll be shown how to construct buildings and gather ore, which is essential if you want to have funds, and after completing this small mission you'll be thrown into the real game - where you have to destroy the enemy. To get rid of them, you'll have to employ a wide variety of weapons, vehicles, and tanks, all of which are upgradeable with experience points you gain at the end of every mission you can complete.

Shadez 2: Battle for Earth is a sequel, but it's better than the previous game in almost every single way. With more buildings, enemies, missions and upgrades, this is the game worth playing; it's one of the best time wasters out there.

Remember to protect your headquarters at all times; without it, you're toast. Keeping all of your buildings immediately next to your headquarters is a good idea, but it can also backfire - if the enemy doesn't destroy your headquarters, they'll destroy something at least.

If you ever feel as if the game is moving along too slowly, press and hold the F key to speed things up. This is great since you can speed through waiting times for buildings, but it also lets the enemy prepare faster, too, so don't use it too often.

Good, coordinated control of your troops is a must if you want to survive in Shadez 2: Battle for Earth. To do so, you can assign groups of troops to the 1-9 number keys -these hot keys are complicated to assign at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's the best way to keep effective groups of soldiers, vehicles, and tanks. Remember to upgrade your buildings as much as possible, too - the money you have isn't worth much unless you're using it, and the same goes for the experience points you gain every round.
